Ronald J. Glatzer, M.D.

Dr. Ronald GlatzerDr. Ronald J. Glatzer has more than 30 years of experience in retina and vitreous disorders and was one of the first retina specialists in Broward County. Dr.Glatzer has earned many prestigious honors, including recognition as one of the Best Doctors in America and one of the 100 Best Physicians listed in South Florida Magazine as well as being named Who’s Who in Executives & Professionals.

Dr.Glatzer is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Vermont, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received his Medical Degree from New York Medical College, which was followed by an internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and residency in ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Dr.Glatzer completed additional training as a Fellow in Retinal and Vitreous surgery at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary. He is Board-Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr.Glatzer is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists, Broward County Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, Miami Ophthalmologic Society, and Broward County Ophthalmology Society.
